I would hire this team to remodel again. They are efficient and a great team to work with. They have their plans well thought out before any work is started. They took the time to review the plans with me prior to the start of the job. This team works well with each other and best of all.... they do a great job cleaning up after themselves.
Now comparing them to a larger well known contractor I have used, the biggest difference is Unique Home Services is more efficient and communicates better with their customer. They listen when you want to make a change and don't make a big deal over the changes. This team talks to you and not at you. This is a small team, but they get the work done and done right the first time. With the larger team my biggest frustration was that no one knew what the other workers were doing. They just came in did their job and they were gone. Unique Home Services always knows whats going on in the job and keeps you posted as the the next step to be done.

Unique Home Services is family-owned and operated since 2006. We primarily serve clients in the Beaverton, Tigard, Hillsboro and Portland-metro area but have also completed remodeling projects in Newberg, Sherwood and Salem.
We are primarily a referral-based business, that is, we get most of our clientele from existing clients who refer us. Currently, we do most of the work ourselves. When we do enlist in additional labor we are onsite to manage that resource and inspect their work along the way.

We want the client to know exactly what they are getting when they contract with Unique Home Services. We explain what the job entails, what surprises a client might expect along the way, what materials we use and why. We also walk a client through any design choices to help make the space exactly what they are looking for. Trust is also an important factor when working in a client's home where the owners are often not present during remodeling hours. We work closely with owners with respect to security systems, pets and keeping their valuables safe. We treat every home as our own.
We believe in minimizing the disruption a remodeling project can have. We do all that we can to work within the hours the homeowners asks us to, to keep the dust to a minimum and maintain a safe work environement. Tools and materials are typically located in one designated area. We take pride in cleaning the work area up at the end of each day. All tools and materials are stored with safety in mind.
We stand behind our work. We want the client to be completely satisfied with their remodeled space. We will correct any issues that may arise in our workmanship. We ask that any balanced owed is withheld until the client is completely satisfied and all of the specified work has been completed. It's the way any business should be ran... "we are not satisfied until you are satisfied."
